Anyone in the community who has experienced loss & is looking for support. Whether your loss is recent or in the past, you are very welcome. Come along and join us to connect, share & support each other through the journey of grief.We meet at THE PIER CEYLON 163 Station Road Herne Bay CT6 5NE at 10am all welcome. Our next meeting is Monday 23rd March and then 3rd Monday each month.

Walk & Talk
Why not join us on one of our walks- we are now running four separate walks throughout Herne Bay and the surrounding area. There is no need to sign up for these walks, simply turn up and join in.
Memorial Park - Held every Tuesday at 10am. Starting at the Memorial Gate entrance in Kings Road then enjoy a cuppa & a chat at The Salvation Army. (No Charge for refreshments but we recommend a small contribution.) This walk suits those who prefer a gentle stroll.
Bishopstone-Reculver - Held on the 2nd Saturday each month. Starting from the car park at Bishopstone Lane (What3words: ///muddle.motored.aimless) at 10am walking along the cliff top walk towards & beyond Reculver Towers. Stopping for refreshments at Hat Hats Cafe. (CASH&CARD) and then heading back to the car park. This is a walk to blow the cobwebs away in the fresh air, but all on level pathways.
Hampton-Tankerton - Held on the 3rd Thursday each month. Starting from the shelter opposite The Hampton Inn (What3words: ///stocks.hurry.clips) at 1pm walking along the coastline towards Tankerton and stopping off for refreshments at Seaview Cafe (CASH ONLY) and returning to Hampton. Another lovely walk along the coast, taking in the sea views and again all on a level pathway.
Curtiswood Park - Held on the 4th Saturday each month starting at Curtiswood Park (off Curtiswood Park Road in Herne) at 10am through the wooded area and public footpath towards Canterbury Garden Centre where they stop for refreshments and then return to Curtiswood Park. This walk is not all a level surface, occasionally crossing styles, so this walk may not suit everyone. This is through a very picturesque part of Herne.

Do you need to record your Blood Pressure but don't have a machine? Contact your GP surgery and our Care Co-Ordinators can arrange for us to lend you one! We can also arrange for a Health Champion to deliver the machine to your home & collect it once you have completed the readings if you are not in a postion to collect it yourself. Please call and ask to speak to Kelly Bergin for Heron Medical Practice (St Annes & Hersden) patients and Rachel Smedley for Park Surgery ( Herne & Broomfield) patients.
